Archie Bunker Reaching a new Generation of Loyal Fans.........

Phoenix, Ariz., August 9, 1999 --    A tribute to the long running TV show "All in the Family" was launched as a dynamic new online information resource to meet the needs and interests of diverse "Archie Bunker" fans. According to Edward Taylor; research analyst, the site redesigned its Internet web site and was expanded to include new information and features for fans with an interest in the show.

According to Taylor, " with the recent airing of All in the Family (AITF) and Archie Bunkers Place (ABP) on local, national and international TV stations, new types of people are viewing. From a total of 1,100 people surveyed, approximately 46% never watched the shows when they originally aired. Furthermore, the majority of viewers believe the shows issues were not complex. The analysis of these facts clearly indicate younger generation of fans are watching the shows."

Taylor also noted the trend towards viewer preferences. "From a total of 56,000 responses, 62% of viewers prefer Archie, played by Carroll O'Connor over other characters. The character of Edith, played by Jean Stapleton, came in 2nd with 29% of total responses, followed by Mike with 5% and Gloria with 4%."
